Halloween Festive

We decorated for Halloween in our usual fashion. Giant spiders and skeletons on the porch. A graveyard with hanging ghouls. Festive lights to illuminate our spooky setup at night.

The graveyard and tree have some new additions this year. Clowns. Well, clown parts. The direct result of my neighbors across the street (who are masters of Halloween decorating) having a garage sale to clean out some of their old Halloween décor to make room for new. The boys used their own money, and to be honest I wasn't really paying attention until it was too late. Did I mention I hate clowns? Especially scary ones. My next door neighbors also now have matching clown parts in their yard because the boys all went "shopping" together. Silver linings.

After looking at these photos in more detail I'm not sure I'll ever sleep again. *Shivers*

We have another full-size skeleton and a mini this year, thanks to the same garage sale as the clowns. It's a whole skeleton family on the porch this year!

I love how the spider web looks lit up from all the lights. Mike swapped out the porch light bulb with a creepy orange one and it gives the web an eerie glow at night.

It's less creepy during the day, but not by much... The skeleton family is infested with snakes and other creepy crawlies.

During the day you can see the bugs and things in the spider web better.

And we can't forget my favorite - the rats running up the railing!

Happy Halloween Witches!
