Woodland Creatures: Stuffed Animals

No nursery or child’s room is ever complete without a bunch of adorable stuffed animals to snuggle. My son has already amassed a lovely collection (from the stellar twilight turtle to sweet teddies), and I wanted to highlight more of the woodland friends that also work as decor.

My friend’s sweet daughter gave this cute little raccoon (named Rick) to our future baby boy from her collection. Isn’t that just so adorable? It goes perfectly with our woodland theme and was the first stuffed friend in the nursery. He fits great in the pocket shelves and is the perfect size for a small child to hold.

At Ikea we hit the jackpot of woodland animals - a pair of foxes, a rabbit, and a tiny little orange moose at those fabulous Ikea prices. They are brand new on the website, when we made our trip they were not up yet, so it was a very happy surprise when we stumbled upon them. I guess we are unintentionally riding a woodland theme trend!
