Gallery Wall Prints

Over the past several months I’ve been collecting espresso wood frames in different sizes to create a gallery wall of woodland animal prints over the crib. I chose an espresso finish for all the frames to coordinate with the furniture and give the collection a cohesive look, especially since I wanted to use multiple artists and artistic styles for the prints.

I found some amazing artists on Etsy and around the internet - it was very hard to narrow things down and even harder to choose the final images. I had already decided on animal prints from Le Canot Rouge, so I mixed them into the mockups to make sure everything went together. Originally I had 30 prints on my wish list, but eventually I got everything narrowed down to 12. And that took a lot of effort! The watercolor prints are from two sellers, DIMDImini with the cute little animal watercolors and The Wheatfield for inspiring words and beautiful typography.

(Row 1: Le Canot Rouge | The Wheatfield | DIMDImini | DIMDImini (this is the original watercolor of the custom 5x7 print I ordered), Row 2: DIMDImini | DIMDImini | Le Canot Rouge | The Wheatfield, Row 3: The Wheatfield | Le Canot Rouge | DIMDImini | DIMDImini, Row 4: Le Canot Rouge | DIMDImini | DIMDImini | Le Canot Rouge)

The word prints say, "Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, and drink in the wild air" by Ralph Waldo Emerson, "All good things are wild and free" by Henry David Thoreau, and "Tomorrow to fresh woods and pastures new" by John Milton.

I'm so excited, I can't wait for everything to arrive!
