Beige to Bright

I love the lamp base I had in the sunroom too much to leave it in the new playroom (beautiful, delicate, on the expensive side). So we decided to swap it out for the one we had in the office.

Years ago the beige lamp base was a denim blue and I painted it a neutral for our old living room. For the playroom I wanted something fun and bright, so I decided to give the lamp a quick makeover with a fresh coat of paint. I chose aqua to give the lamp a fun pop of color.

It looks great next to the couch on the red side table and it coordinates with aqua in the fun lampshade. Painting the lamp base was easy, I originally painted it with beige craft paint so all I had to do was put on 2 coats of aqua.
