Iris Bulb Planting

Iris bulbs were on sale, 50% off. So I bought 3 to go with our existing purple ones in the garden along the fence. Gold, pink, and navy! We have a bare patch in my perennial garden where things died come back, so hopefully the irises are more successful in this spot.

I also transplanted a peony from another part of the perennial garden next to the bulbs. When I planted that particular peony, I thought it was an empty spot where we pulled up the grass. It turns out there were 3 hostas hiding underground, just waiting for the lawn mower to stop running them over. It was a bit crowded in that spot, so I moved the peony to the empty area here.
