The project took a long time to get to this point, but that’s DIY when you have babies/kids/needy animals. The complications, the blood, sweat and tears just make us love it all the more. It’s so nice to sit outside at the table or on a blue chair. Oliver can sit at his picnic table in the shade and we’ve dragged his baby pool under here several times. In a backyard filled with sun, this pergola is already a life-saver. Of course we’ll be adding more to it over time, but we’re thrilled to finally be able to enjoy it.
It’s beautiful. It’s amazing. I love it. I am never going inside again, I will live out here, on the patio in the shade, for the rest of my days.
