This is Halloween, This is Halloween (Sing it!)

We decorated for Halloween in early October. It's our favorite neighborhood holiday - everyone gets so into it around here. We did our usual graveyard with ghouls, the skeletons and giant spiderweb on the porch. There are rats, bats, snakes ans spiders lurking.

The kids love it.

Between the pumpkins and flowers, our porch is a little crowded this year (it's been unseasonably warm so everything is still doing well!). A neighbor told me it wasn't crowded, it was "cozy." I like cozy a lot better, so we're going to go with that. The porch is festive and cozy!

Oliver keeps insisting the skeleton wear his skateboarding helmet. So it's a skater skeleton.

New porch sign this year:

At night we have the lights. Purple globe lights in the tree to illuminate the ghouls, purple lights across the graveyard fence to illuminate the area (and for safety so no one hurts themselves on low black fence in the dark). On the porch rail we have orange lights and pumpkin lights around the skeletons (COZY!).

Happy Halloween!
