Greenhouse Potting Bench for Spring Planting

My lovely grandmother sent me an early birthday present - the perfect sized potting bench for the greenhouse.

I'd been having a hard time finding one that was the right size - they were too deep or too tall or too small. This one is ideal - at only 14 inches deep, it doesn't crowd the space in here, but it's 4 feet long so it provides plenty of work room. I also love that it's counter height so I don't have to bend.

Half of my sprouted seedlings are out here, the other half are under my grow light. I've been busy potting and repotting this weekend and soon I'll be getting a head start on my bulbs out here. It's really nice to have a dedicated workspace. Last year I was doing all this on my dining room table and I can't imagine going back to that again!

There's still plenty of room for the stool, the shelves and all the plants (+ all the plants I'm going to be starting soon). The heater is still in here, and will stay until mid-April as we're still due for some nasty cold fronts that will plummet temperatures overnight again. This past week it's been in the 60's and sunny, which turns the greenhouse into a sauna I have to vent and still stays warm overnight.

Lastly, here's my latest bouquet of flowers from the greenhouse - a whole bunch of pretty snapdragons. The stems are really long (way longer than they ever were in the summer), probably from reaching for the light in the winter. It's been such a mood lifter to have flowers all winter long.
