Part 1: Oh Christmas Tree

So here's Part 1 of what our house looks like for the holidays: The Christmas Tree.  We put it in the sun room where it can be seen from the living room, dining room and outside through the windows.  It's a real pine tree because we love the look and the smell, even if they are a little messy.

I like fun colorful Christmas trees.  Brightly colored lights and non-traditional ornaments.  Actually our ornament collection can be broken down to: 70% animal menagerie, 20% decorative balls, 5% sentimental mementos, 3% handmade snowflakes, and 2% Christmas themed ornaments. It wasn't intentional (I'm not disciplined enough for a themed tree), I just happened to be drawn to ornaments of animals (fish, birds, exotics, woodland creatures, etc) and pretty patterns.
