New Patio Furniture

I know we don’t have a patio yet, but the deal was too good to pass up.  A friend of mine, with a supreme talent for finding amazing deals on secondhand furniture, found this set for $200 on Craigslist.  This is the same friend who found us the fabulous console table for $100.

The set is from Crate & Barrel, a solid wood table and six solid wood armchairs.   The table is huge and would actually seat 8 with smaller chairs, but the arm chairs are super comfortable.  The whole set needs to be sealed and weatherproofed, and someday refinished.   The tabletop was sanded down by the previous owner and needs some additional work and stain, but overall the set is in amazing condition and a total steal at $200 (considering C&B’s solid wood armchairs start at $300 each).

The patio is definitely our next big project in the works - and this is some serious motivation to get going!
