Revenge of the Five Inch Nails

I've mentioned this several times before, we've been finding 5" nails all over the house.  For putting up blinds and shades, the mismatched floor trim that made us crazy, shelves, and so much more.  It's like someone bought a giant bucket of them at costco and used them everywhere just to make us crazy.

This time the five inch nail enthusiast went too far.  This is our half bath currently:

Yep.  That's the wall where the medicine cabinet and sink should be. 

We found a leak in our basement coming from the wall with the plumbing, so we called in a professional.  The plumber took apart the downstairs bathroom wall looking for the leak.  What did he find?  Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of those 5 inch nails hammered into the piping.  And of course over all these years it caused four major cracks that are now starting to leak.  So now we have a major plumbing project in the works to replace the line.
