A Start to the Sink Plumbing

Before Mike could finish patching the hole around the pipe in the wall, he had to extend the plumbing into the room. Using a very smelly glue made especially for PVC pipes (open a window!), he put all of the pieces together using a plumbing kit from Home Depot. These kits make it simple for novices like us to do basic plumbing.

We’re going to hold off installing the sink until the walls are primed and painted because it’s so much easier to do without anything in the way. In the meantime, the pipes were capped to prevent methane and other sewer gases from leaking into our house.
