Lanterns

Our backyard patio and deck are going to be very stylish this year. Not only do I have the two aqua lanterns from Ikea I bought in February, but I just inherited these oversized white ones from West Elm. They are huge and gorgeous and the perfect scale for our massive table.

The little aqua ones get lost on the patio, but work much better on our little bistro deck table. Especially with the aqua umbrella!

I love big lanterns and it’s actually surprising that we haven’t had any until this year. I really like how the outdoor space is coming together. It’s not perfect and there’s always more to do, but it’s finally starting to feel homey.
