Peonies

The Peonies are finally blooming in the backyard, which means our house is now full of bouquets in several shades of pink. I love peonies so much, they are just the prettiest flowers.

To get the ants off I pick the flowers and put them in water, then leave them outside on the deck for a few hours. The ants wander off to bring the sugar back home and go back to the garden for more instead of the flowers I picked. It's worked really well, we have yet to bring an ant inside.
