Backyard Swing Set

Over the holiday weekend we built Oliver's birthday swing set! It's a few weeks early, but with our upcoming schedules it was the right weekend to do it. Saturday we had absolutely perfect weather for putting it together.

We went with a swing set instead of a full play set because we wanted to be able to see it from the house but had limited space because of the driveway and garage. I think it's just right - there are plenty of play sets in the neighborhood if Oliver wants to climb into a clubhouse. This one is no maintenance and holds up to 500 lbs. And Oliver is THRILLED - swings have always been his favorite part of the playground.
