New Year, New Header

After an epically terrible 2020, I needed a fresh start in 2021... including the blog banner. I've been drawing a lot more this winter, thanks to a resolution for 2021 is to draw every day. 

I doodled a new drawing of our house. And I like it, because it includes the gray foundation paint, the gray garage, the climbing rose trellis on the far side of the porch, the bittersweet vine that climbed up the drain pipe. This new drawing feels more like our house in real life - or at least a similar "personality." 

I meant to put this up on Feb 1st, but we had a massive blizzard (2 ft of snow!) and the kids were home for 3 days. It's been a crazy week. Then again every week feels crazy these days...
