Spring Surprise

It was warm and sunny on Saturday, the temperatures outside reached almost 60 degrees and it felt lovely.  Spring was in the air and I was itching for flowers and gardens and green.  While outside in the backyard with Georgia, we found a sweet surprise from the previous owner - dozens of crocus were sprouting up in the grass!  It was beautiful; there were spots of purple, white and yellow everywhere - even under the deck!

Over by the fence some mystery bulbs started coming up next to my irises - I'm pretty sure these are daffodils.  I had wanted to plant some spring bulbs in the fall but we ran out of time... so this was a really lovely surprise!
