Garage Progress

We’ve made huge progress in the garage... one can now walk inside it! There might not be room yet for storing all our patio furniture, plant pots and landscaping equipment, but a lot has been cleaned up and thrown away.

A lot of stuff in here makes for slow work, so many things in here take a lot of effort to get rid of (which is why we tossed them in here in the first place). We threw the old laminate kitchen countertops in here and disposing of them requires us to cut them down with a circular saw. And the old metal edges recycled. And we have to figure out what to do with other things like an old door, scrap lumber, etc. Old computer monitors have to be recycled at the recycling center. And let's not forget the old broken lawn mower and other odd things left behind by the previous owner.

So we're getting there. Slowly but surely. Being able to walk through is big leap forward!
